The ultimate goal of this project is to raise awareness of the fragile mental state that many women find themselves in with a new baby, and to remind women how important their personal joy and mental health is, as they run a family. I aim to open the conversation of Postpartum Mental Health by sharing my own story, tools of survival, and solidarity. My dream is to have this deck of cards available at Target, Barnes & Noble and indy bookstores across the nation. The dream is to have it where any struggling mother may have access to a voice that is perhaps speaking about something she doesn't yet realize she needs help with.
