As I worked on the art for these affirmations, I was inspired by my life in the desert, and by the cacti that surround my house. Cacti are resilient. They soak up water when it does rain so they can survive the hottest, driest moments in between. They have the most beautiful blossoms, and are a little prickly, not unlike some of my favorite women! Cacti know how to care for themselves, and in so doing, they are life-giving to everyone who lives among them. When mothers thrive, everyone who lives amongst them will also thrive.
